Pumpkin Chili – Fall Recipe
It is October which means it’s officially pumpkin time!!!
Here is one of my favorite pumpkin recipes and it is super easy, and it is a Crock Pot one on top of it. This Pumpkin Chili is Ohio style which means NO BEANS and normally served over pasta (I have eaten it by itself though!)
***Also side tip… my kids HATE chili so I call it Pumpkin sloppy joe in front of them.
You will need:
- 1lb of ground beef
- 1 can of pumpkin (15oz.)
- 1 can of manwhich Or any other sloppy joe can mix
- 1 can of fire roasted tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 1 box of Pasta (optional)
- Cheddar cheese for topping (optional)
Step 1:
Brown the Beef (my crock pot does this) if yours doesn’t brown in a separate pan and then put in crock pot.
Step 2:
Add the 3 cans to crock pot
Step 3:
Add pumpkin pie spice
Step 4:
Let it cook for a few hours 3-4 on high or 6 ish on low (everything is cooked already so no real science)
Step 5:
Serve over pasta with cheese (if you want)
